Wild Bobcat Photo shoot in the Backyard

"I still can't believe it!!!"


The excitement of the Bobcat family visits is winding down. It has been an amazing few days seeing the wild Bobcat family hang out in our back yard. We are now on high alert as the mother is very protective of their young.  We are staying close to the house just in case!!!

I am not sure why they came and stayed in the backyard so long (2 days staying for about 1/2 hour to 20 min each time)? Maybe the bird feeders attracted them with all the mice tunneling under the snow or maybe the mother was training her little one's. Either way, this was an amazing experience for my wife and I. The result are some great closeups of the Bobcat family.

Wild visitors to our backyard, Jan 6th and 8th, 2011 - Mother Bobcat and Little ones - Big Brother and Little Sister. We knew there were Bobcats around the house due to all the cat footprints - now we have the proof!!!
